Salad Dressings and Sauces
Salad dressings and sauces (such as supermarket bought French dressing, brown sauce and tomato ketchup) can be high in salt and if they are added to every meal can easily increase your overall salt intake. Try some of the tips for adding flavour mentioned in the Reprogram your Tastebuds section as an alternative to your usual dressing or sauce. Additionally you could make your own salad dressing with no added salt.
