Method 1) Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/gas 5 2) To make the topping, sieve the flour into a bowl and rub the spread in with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar and the oats. 3) For the filling, arrange the slices of apple in an ovenproof dish or divide between 6 individual ramekins. Sprinkle with the water, sugar and cinnamon. 4) Cover the fruit with the crumble mixture and bake in the oven for 40 minutes, until golden brown. 5) Serve warm with reduced-fat custard or reduced-fat crème fraîche. Suggestions Try adding the grated rind and juice of an orange to the apples, soft fruits such as blackberries and raspberries also work really well. Add some chopped walnuts to the topping instead of the oats. Replace the water with fruit juice or stir in a little honey to the fruit mixture.
