In Memoriam

We are sad to announce the passing of Action on Salt Member Professor Peter Sleight, Honorary Consultant Physician at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, on the 7th October 2020. Professor Sleight was a world leading cardiologist, and had contributed to over 500 peer reviewed publications, most notably on the use of aspirin in the treatment and prevention of stroke and other medical conditions.Peter provided invaluable support and encouragement  for our work at Action on Salt and was a great source of wisdom and advice. Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.
